Refugees

hola!

We’ve just told Ted that we will leave the farm on wednesday. We will go to Tamworth with Jimmy because he needs to see the doctor. Tamworth is the biggest city around here and it’s about 2 hours away. From there we will travel up to Byron Bay.

I think it was a good experience to stay on a farm, but 1 week is enough. We need to make party again and meet some people otherwise we’ll become crazy, because here’s nothing to do.

Now we will put Lipi on hehe

seee u lateer

waaaaaaaah outback

We’re in the middle of nowhere staying at a teethless old cowboy called Ted. He’s got 3 dogs - one looks like a monster-, 13 sheeps, 3 horses and 4 chicken. He calls us „Blondie“ and „Darky“ or just „Girlie-Girls“. Usually we can’t  understand him, because he talks like a real australian outback jack, so most of the time we just say „sorry?“ or „yes, yes, allright“.  He’s not the the cleanest person in the world so we just had to clean the whole kitchen to feel better. This morning we went to an 77 year old neighbour called Jimmy where we helped in the garden. Jimmy is great. He can’t hear very much but tells the greatest stories. After that we went back home with Ted’s car and 3 dogs in it- Adrenalin pur! This evening there is a „Party on the road“. We don’t really know what that means and what we have to expect from a Party here in the outback. On the road. We’ll see.

goodbye sydney

hey mates,

just want you to know that our time in sydney is over now. we gonna leave early tomorrow, catch a train to lithgow,  go to coonabarabran by bus and hopefully gonna picked up by Ted.

one says that Ted is a real outback jack and we’re excited in staying at his farm in the land of kangooroos. we have to look after his home and the animals (as well as after the french guy Pierre-Jean who has already arrived at Ted’s onemonth ago ;) ) while Ted is running his outback tours.

so finally, we say goodbye to the asylum, the palms and all the great people we’ve met here as well as to the world bar, the empire, the coles and sydney at all.

gonna see ya in the outback guys – howdy :p

the palms

heeey guys,

we just arrived at „the palms“, another hostel here in kings cross. kings cross is a part of sydney where almost all backpackers are living. we’ve got a lot of party here and a Red Light District, that looks a little bit like the Reeperbahn, but much smaller and very ugly.

this hotel is much nicer than the other one („Asylum“). we’ve got a lot of palms here and a big common room with very friendly people. unfortunately it’s full of german people, so we can’t talk in english that much. the cleanliness here is okay even you can’t mess it with german standards. we also found out that the „bed bugs“ in „asylum weren’t bed bugs, but just cockroaches (kakerlaken). it didn’t really make us feel better but after a while you really get used to it.

the weather is allright, sunny but cold. we decided to stay here until wednesday because we have to wait for the bankcard to use our account. after that we wanna travel further north up to Byron Bay, where it’s much warmer than down here. Maybe we can live there with a family in an awesome house for like 2 weeks. If not we wanna get a job there and stay in a hostel.

On thursday we went out with some guys we met in the asylum. they are living near Perth and invited us to celebrate New Year with them in Perth. That’s great because then we can visit western australia and not only the east coast. Maybe we’ll do that.

Today we wanna go to the Botanic Garden. It’s near the Opera House and I think it will be very beautiful. We will load up some photos soon.

bed bugs

now it’s 9 o’clock in the morning and I’m awake since 7 hours now…that’s because tonight we met some cute little friends called the bed bugs. disgusting little things that live in sheets and love to bite you in your legs and feet. at 5.30 this morning we decided to go to bed again and we put on long trousers and put them in our socks, so that we looked like „assi-tuerken“. really nice. I couldn’t sleep the whole night…great, BUT they didn’t get me, yeah! I’ll eat some cornflakes now…

bye bye

sydney is crazy shit. and the american tasta isn’t much better. omg^^

much traffic and no time at all. here in kings cross it’s much easier. sheraton is „nice“, but in asylum (the hostel) you get to know people and that’s why we’re here for!

i’m going to rafaelle, the nice-looking italian on the couch next to me, now.

after all it was a real lorry start, we’ve made. stories will be told in germany next year!

love you
